Over 700 players took part in the event organized by PokerStars, accumulating enormous prize pool.

Steve took home an amazing prize of 1,363,100 US dollars and won a free seat in the World Poker Tour final, which will be played this April in Las Vegas and is worth 25,000 dollars to participate.

The entrance to this Caribbean Adventure poker tournament cost 8,000 dollars, but Steve Paul-Ambrose did not pay this money as well as many other players. He paid as much as 102 US dollars and won his seat through an online super-satellite tournament at PokerStars.com, the organizer of the event.

According to Steves brother George Ambrose, Steve is a quite guy, a good thinker and problem solver. He has very little poker experience. He used to play poker online during the last two years, but very rarely played at a real table, and never with professional players. However, the online experience he has seemed to be enough for him to win such a prestigious real life tournament.
