The top casinos are already booked and they promise to host special events this coming weekend.

Atlantic City casino expects crowds of visitors during Presidents Day weekend. Traditionally, Presidents Day along with New Years Eve and Fourth of July are the most profitable holidays for the gambling market.

According to John Payne, regional president of Harrahs Entertainment Inc. Atlantic City Casinos, all the company hotels are already booked for this weekend. Harrahs four Atlantic City casinos are hosting a variety of special events this weekend including concerts, blackjack tournament and opening of the new high-roller lounge.

Audrey Oswell, president of Resorts Atlantic City, said the 878 rooms are booked for this weekend. Resorts will host this weekend three Tom Jones concerts, a special cash-back promotion, a World Series of Blackjack tournament event and a high roller dinner at the new Gallaghers Steakhouse.
