Conveniently located in the heart of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the remodeled Grand Biloxi, an ideal gaming destination which was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina last September, will open its doors on August 17, pending the receipt of all required regulatory approvals. The resort offers quality gaming, fine dining, golf, spa and many others fun activities.
"Grand Biloxi's opening marks the first phase of our exciting master plan on the Mississippi Gulf Coast," said Anthony Sanfilippo, president of Harrah's Central Division. "The Grand is back with the kind of high-quality casino entertainment experience our customers have come to expect. We look forward to contributing to the restoration of the Gulf Coast's tourism industry, and are excited to see our employees back at work."
Grand Biloxi Casino hotel features 500 modern rooms, luxurious Bellissimo Spa, fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, retail store, over 800 slot machines, more than 25 table games and the best is yet to come. LB's Steakhouse for lunch and dinner, 300-seat Grand Buffet and an expanded Starbucks will increase the dining pleasure experience.
The long-term plan for this property is to construct a destination resort. Part of the expansion plans revolve around Harrah's purchase of the 18 acres that comprised the neighboring Casino Magic property.
